Khaberni - Turkish famous football commentator Levent Tüzi̇men claimed that Argentine Lionel Messi has given the green light to Galatasaray for a special project for 4 months and 12 matches, provided that he only plays in Istanbul.
In statements he made via the channel "A Spor", after Galatasaray's hefty win over Kayserispor with four goals to nil, Tüzi̇men reported that the administration of the Turkish club offered the Inter Miami star a project that extends only for 4 months.
Tüzi̇men clarified that the Argentine star has given preliminary approval to join the yellow and red club as part of a special project lasting 4 months, with the condition that he only plays in Istanbul, stating that he will play 12 home matches.
Based on information obtained from inside the walls of the Turkish club, Tüzi̇men mentioned that Messi is seriously considering this offer as part of his preparation plan for the World Cup.
The Turkish commentator reported Messi’s statement saying that "the pace of play in the American league has become extremely exhausting," and that he fears injury before the global event, making him prefer a less physically demanding competitive system at this stage.
It is worth mentioning that Messi - who recently led Inter Miami to win the American League title - is tied to a contract that ends in 2027.
