AlSafadi to the Iranian Foreign Minister Jordan will not be a launchpad for any military action against Iran

Khaberni - Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Al-Safadi conducted a telephone call with the Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi, during which a number of bilateral issues and regional situations were discussed. 

The ministers discussed developments related to the Iranian nuclear file, where Al-Safadi emphasized the necessity of adopting diplomacy and dialogue as a way to resolve the issue, and expressed the Kingdom's support for all efforts aimed at de-escalation and ending tension and achieving calm in the region.

Al-Safadi reaffirmed the Kingdom's steadfast position in rejecting the violation of state sovereignty and the necessity of respecting international law. He stressed that Jordan will not be a battlefield in any regional conflict or a launchpad for any military action against Iran, and will not allow any party to breach its airspace and threaten its security and the safety of its citizens, and will confront with all its capabilities any attempt to breach its airspace. 

Araghchi valued Jordan's positions and efforts to achieve security and stability in the region. The ministers agreed to continue communication and consultations regarding regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the tension and activate dialogue to achieve this.
