Khaberni - Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said today, Monday, that "the army needs mechanical equipment, vehicles, and gear that enable it to perform its tasks", confirming that "the state has managed to disarm the south of Litani and imposed its authority in the region", as reported by the Cairo News channel.
The statements of the Lebanese president coincide with the continuing Israeli breaches in southern Lebanon, where the occupying army this morning admitted targeting a vehicle in the vicinity of the town of Ansariya in southern Lebanon, allegedly targeting a Hezbollah member.
The peacekeeping forces in Lebanon "UNIFIL", today, said that they canceled 10 activities along the Blue Line after the Israeli army informed them that it would conduct an aerial activity to drop a non-toxic chemical substance.
UNIFIL added that "peacekeeping forces must stay away from Israeli activities, and remain under covered places", emphasizing that "Israeli activities are unacceptable and in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701".
UNIFIL's command explained that "Israeli actions endanger peacekeeping forces and civilians, and pose a significant concern", calling on the Israeli army to stop all its activities and work with peacekeeping forces to support stability.
