Khaberni - Monthly climate forecast maps issued by the Meteorological Department, relying on the outputs from the European model (ECMWF), forecast that the current February is expected to experience temperatures approximately one degree Celsius higher than its general averages in most parts of the kingdom.
According to the meteorological data, the forecasts indicate that the monthly average temperature during the current February might range between (18.8 – 6.6) degrees Celsius in various parts of the kingdom, with a probability of happening around 40 percent.
Regarding precipitation, the forecasts clarified that precipitation amounts are expected to be around the general monthly average in most areas, with chances of registering higher than average amounts in the extreme south and east of the kingdom.
The Meteorological Department confirmed that these forecasts are part of the monthly statistical climate predictions and are subject to updates with new data issuance and do not reflect daily weather conditions or short-term details.
