Khaberni - French media reports revealed that Karim Benzema, striker of Al-Ittihad Jeddah, is not considering a return to Europe at the moment, but tends to join the ranks of Al Hilal in the Saudi Roshan League.
Earlier reports had mentioned that Benzema rebelled against Al-Ittihad Jeddah and refuses to play with the team amid disputes over extending his contract, having been absent from the team against Al-Fateh.
The French striker, winner of the Ballon d'Or 2022, joined Al-Ittihad in a free transfer in 2023 after his contract with Real Madrid ended.
Santi Ona, a journalist at the well-known French site "Foot Mercato," reported that returning to Europe is not a priority for Benzema, as he had rejected an offer from Juventus just days before.
He added: A meeting is scheduled between Al-Ittihad and Benzema's agents in the coming hours.
The report also clarified that the French striker tends to join the ranks of Al Hilal, but no decision has been made yet.
