Closure of West Amman Civil Status and Passports Office for Maintenance

Khaberni  - The Director General of the Civil Status and Passports Department, Gaith Ghazi Al-Tayeb, decided to close the West Amman Civil Status and Passports Office (Jabal Amman), starting from Thursday, February 5th, for five months, for maintenance purposes.

The department explained that the ongoing maintenance works at the office will prevent the provision of services to citizens during the specified period, noting that these activities are part of efforts to improve the work environment and develop the infrastructure, which contributes to enhancing the level of services provided to citizens when the office reopens.

The department clarified that it is currently working on implementing plans to update and develop a number of its offices in the capital and provinces, as part of a comprehensive program aimed at improving the quality of services provided to citizens.

The department urged citizens to visit its offices in the capital province, including (the main center/ Tabarbour, Ashrafieh, Hay Nazal, Jabal Hussein), or to head to the comprehensive government centers to complete their transactions.

The department also encouraged citizens to benefit from the electronic services available through the Sanad app, or through the electronic services portal at the following link: https://eservices.cspd.gov.jo/.

The department explained that it will announce the date of resumption of work at the office after the completion of maintenance works, through its official channels.
