Khaberni – The Jordan Basketball Federation announced the transfer of the match file between Al-Faisaly Club team and Al-Ittihad Amman Club team in the Professional League matches, which took place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Prince Hamzah Hall, to the Discipline and Conduct Committee for necessary legal actions.
The match witnessed deliberate scoring loss by both teams in the last minutes, in an attempt to maintain their league rankings before the start of the next phase.
The federation also referred the match file between Al-Fuhais Youth team and the Orthodox Club team in the U14 Girls Championship matches on January 31, 2026, at Al-Fuhais Youth Club Hall, after a fight between members from both teams.

The Jordan Basketball Federation expresses its deep regret over what occurred during the last two matches: the match between Al-Faisaly Club and Al-Ittihad Amman Club in the Professional League on January 30, 2026, at Prince Hamzah Hall, and the match between Al-Fuhais Youth and the Orthodox Club in the U14 Girls Championship on January 31, 2026, at Al-Fuhais Youth Club Hall.
The federation decided, in accordance with the current regulations and instructions, to transfer the proceedings of these two matches to the Discipline and Conduct Committee for necessary legal actions.
Dr. Samir Bakhir, the federation president, emphasized the necessity for all parties involved in the game to adhere to the rules and instructions to ensure the continuous success of the championships and enhance the local and regional standing and reputation of basketball.
