Commitment to punctuality achieves a distinguished global position for the company

Khaberni  - Royal Jordanian Airlines announced in a press release today that the preliminary unaudited financial data published for preliminary disclosure for 2025 has undergone a significant transformation in its financial results, achieving a net profit of 21.5 million dinars, including non-recurring capital gains, compared to a net loss of 3.5 million dinars in 2024.

The Chairman of the Board of Royal Jordanian Airlines, Engineer Saeed Samih Darwazeh, expressed his deep gratitude to the board members, management, and all employees for their continuous efforts and dedication in achieving these accomplishments, stating that their dedication and professionalism played the largest role in Royal Jordanian's exceptional results. He confirmed that 2025 marked an exceptional milestone in the company’s journey, as Royal Jordanian achieved unprecedented financial and operational results, confirming the success of the transformation and growth strategy adopted since 2021.

The company recorded an 11% increase in operating revenues, reaching 829 million dinars, which confirms the acceleration and sustainability of growth. It also achieved a noticeable rise in passenger numbers, increasing by 18% to reach 4.4 million passengers during 2025, compared to 3.7 million passengers in the previous year, alongside achieving a high aircraft load factor of 81%, the highest in the company's history.

The Vice Chairman/CEO of Royal Jordanian, Engineer Samer Al-Majali, confirmed that this achievement represents the first signs of the transformation plan, and reflects the robustness of the operational model and the effectiveness of cost control policies and revenue maximization, as the company achieved a qualitative leap in operational and financial performance, with a record commitment to flight punctuality, placing it among the top five airlines globally. He explained that Royal Jordanian transported 826,000 tourists to the kingdom last year, reflecting the significant role of the company in supporting the national tourism sector and enhancing Jordan's position as a leading tourist destination in the region, and added 19 new aircraft to its fleet while phasing out 12 others, completing an update of nearly 70% of its fleet to be among the newest and most efficient in the region.

Al-Majali outlined that these results were achieved despite significant challenges, including global delays in aircraft delivery due to supply chain disruptions, as well as the negative impacts of the Gaza war and its humanitarian and security repercussions and exceptional regional circumstances, which have reflected on travel movements in the region and created a state of instability affecting the aviation sector in general. Despite this, Royal Jordanian continued its commitment to its national role in maintaining the continuity of its operations with high efficiency without interruption.
