Khaberni - As part of its strategy aimed at supporting the education sector and empowering youth, the Jordan Kuwait Bank sponsored the Model United Nations (MUN) conference organized by the British International Academy, which recently held its events at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman.
The conference's discussion sessions, which were held with the wide participation of outstanding students, lasted over three days. During these days, the students engaged in a realistic simulation experience of the United Nations operations and its various committees, which enhances their understanding of international issues and develops their skills in dialogue, research, and solution formulation.
The Model United Nations (MUN) conference aims to equip young leaders with the skills of dialogue, diplomacy, and decision-making, in addition to enhancing their awareness of global issues, international relations, and diplomacy. It also works on developing their skills in public speaking, research, writing, and critical thinking, contributing to preparing a promising generation capable of actively participating in building a more sustainable future.
This sponsorship reaffirms the leading role of the Jordan Kuwait Bank, and its ongoing commitment to supporting quality educational initiatives, as they are fundamental pillars for building a more stable and prosperous future. Furthermore, this sponsorship reflects the bank's belief in the importance of providing interactive platforms that allow young leaders to express their opinions, develop their leadership skills, enhance their critical thinking and decision-making abilities, and work in a team spirit, in line with future requirements and enhancing their readiness for their academic and professional paths.
