Khaberni - The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced that members of a terrorist cell were arrested during security operations conducted by its units in cooperation with the General Intelligence Agency.
The ministry confirmed that the arrested individuals, Khaled Abdullah Al-Issa Al-Helu and Hussein Aboud Al-Hammadi Al-Ali, were involved in planning and executing attacks targeting the Mezzeh area and its military airport, in addition to preparing for new attacks using drones.
The ministry noted that the coordinated security operations thwarted the terrorist plan before its execution, and the arrested individuals were referred to the Anti-Terrorism Administration to complete the investigation and take necessary measures in accordance with the prevailing laws.
