The initiative is based on an unprecedented model in the Arab world, adopting systematic collaborative authoring as a tool for building in-depth Arabic digital knowledge, combining academic thought and practical experience, and transitions content from general theoretical discourse to analytical and experimental content reflecting the reality of digital transformation in Arab institutions.
The initiative has, in a short period, seen the joining of several experts, consultants, and influencers in the Arab digital world, from leaders in digital transformation, data and artificial intelligence experts, and executive practitioners in government and private sectors, enhancing the momentum of the initiative and establishing its status as an inclusive Arab platform for influential digital minds and experiences.
The initiative begins its work by preparing its first book, which focuses on unconventional digital transformation: Beyond Automation - When Systems are Not Enough. It discusses the reasons behind the stalling of some digital transformation initiatives despite hefty investments, the difference between digitization, transformation, and digital empowerment, in addition to showcasing real-world models and experiences from the Arab world and internationally, with an emphasis on transformation based on institutional value rather than technology alone.
The initiative adopts a professional and organized framework that includes specialized authoring teams for each chapter, scientific and practical reviews, unified linguistic and methodological editing, with clear documentation of all intellectual contributions, ensuring content quality and consistency, and granting participants the status of co-authors or knowledge contributors in the final publications.
The founder of the initiative affirms that this project not only aims at producing a single book, but also establishes a sustainable Arab model for collaborative intellectual authoring, aimed at building modern Arab references in digital fields, stimulating a culture of collective knowledge production, and empowering Arab expertise to create digital content befitting the scale of transformations witnessed in the region.
This initiative represents a strategic step in a long journey aiming to transform Arab digital content from a state of consumption to leadership, and from individual, scattered efforts to a joint, institutional knowledge work, capable of having a sustained impact on institutions, society, and the Arab digital economy.
