Khaberni - The Welsh star Gareth Bale has broken his long silence to set off a resounding bombshell about his relationship with his former teammate at Real Madrid, the legend Cristiano Ronaldo, stating that the Portuguese's "dominance" on the field deprived him of making history that could have put him on par with Messi.
Gareth Bale said according to PurelyFootball: "If it weren't for injuries, my name would be mentioned in the same discussion as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi".
He added: "In Real Madrid's training, I was the best at taking free kicks, and the best at finishing attacks, but Cristiano preferred to take all the free kicks and all the set pieces except for the corner kicks, yet in training, my free kick scoring rate was always higher than his."
He continued: "In the final match against Liverpool, I scored a spectacular goal, but no one wants to admit that it's the best goal in the history of the Champions League simply because my name is Gareth Bale".
