Khaberni - The conscripts of military service begin their first training session on Sunday after joining the training centers on Saturday.
Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, speaking on Saturday evening to the conscripts, said that the service is based on discipline, serving the nation, and honoring it, wishing them success and safety.
He added in a post on his official Instagram account: "Discipline, service, honoring the nation.. all the best and safety wishes for you."
The conscripts joined on Saturday the Military Service Training Center at Shweir Camp, after completing all summoning and joining procedures according to the approved mechanism, which was fully implemented electronically, in line with the organizational directions of the military service program.
The head of the Mobilization and People's Army Department confirmed that the conscripts' joining procedures were conducted according to an organized and studied mechanism, including organizing the arrival process to the training center to ensure public safety and ease of procedures, stating that these steps came within a comprehensive plan developed by the department, which included determining the starting points of transport and distributing them in an organized manner across all the provinces of the kingdom, to ensure the smooth and regular process of joining, reflecting the level of readiness and organization in executing this national task.
He explained that the Armed Forces of Jordan operated buses dedicated to transporting the conscripts from various provinces to the Military Service Training Center in Shweir, to ensure their safety and ease of movement, after completing all related administrative and technical procedures.
He added that the conscripts' joining came after the readiness of the Military Service Training Center was completed, which was developed through stages that included updating the infrastructure, enhancing the readiness of human resources, and providing modern training requirements, to be a distinctive model in terms of organization and discipline, and according to the standards set in the institutes and training centers of the armed forces.
He noted that the center is distinguished by its location within a military area in the Shweir region, containing an integrated surveillance system covering all its facilities, in addition to a continuous monitoring and escort system for the conscripts by officers and trainers around the clock.
The head of the department clarified that the center is equipped with modern accommodation facilities according to the highest public safety standards, supported by heating and cooling systems, alongside integrated service and administrative facilities, and a medical center providing healthcare around the clock, in addition to modern sanitary facilities equipped with clean energy systems.
This joining is part of the military service program, which is a long-term national strategic project aimed at preparing Jordanian youth, building their character on the foundations of discipline, responsibility, and belonging, and enhancing the values of citizenship and national commitment.
