The Last Remaining in His Detachment The Brother of the Captive Qassam Commander Adham AlAkr Shares Details of His Capture

Khaberni - Nabil Al-Akr, the brother of the captive Qassam commander Adham Al-Akr, revealed new details about his brother and the suffering of the Qassam detachment he led in the southern Gaza Strip, emphasizing that the occupation tried to portray the Palestinian fighter in a demeaning way but failed to shake their resolve.

Nabil Al-Akr pointed out that the recent video showing Adham Al-Akr with "Ghassan Dehainy" was painful for the family, but it is part of the occupation's and the collaborating influence's attempt to depict Palestinians as weak, stating that the purpose of the video is to undermine the resolve of the Palestinian people, not just the family members.

Nabil Al-Akr said, "Adham has been a member of the Al-Qassam Brigades since his childhood, he is a well-mannered and beloved young man who demonstrated his resilience during the siege in Rafah since October 7th, maintaining his position on the battlefield despite being affected by gas inhalation and a treatment period at the Kuwaiti hospital."

He added that his brother was the last to remain with the Qassam detachment in Al-Janeena neighborhood, securing the exit of other fighters before they were targeted by the bombing.

He explained that contact with the Qassam detachment was almost cut off for about 3 months, during which Adham and his team endured harsh conditions, losing more than 70% of their weight due to lack of food and water amid ongoing demolition and grading operations in Rafah.

About Adham's condition, Nabil Al-Akr confirmed that the Israeli army took custody of the Qassam commander from "Dehainy", and the latter video was a proof of his presence with the occupation.

Regarding the family, Nabil clarified that Adham is married and has 6 children, and that they feel angry and saddened, emphasizing that what happened to his brother will not pass without consequence.

He added, "Adham has reconciled with his fate as a mujahid, as the natural destiny of any fighter is martyrdom, capture, or injury, and we are proud of him."
