Khaberni - The interest of viewers in the program «State of Recitation» in Egypt increases as the finals approach, to know the showtimes and the broadcasting channels today, Saturday.
The program «State of Recitation» enjoys widespread follow-up in Egypt and the Arab world, especially with the competitions entering their decisive stages with a selection of the best voices in the chanting and recitation of the Holy Quran. The audience is increasingly looking for the airing times of the episodes and the channels broadcasting the program.
The «State of Recitation» program is broadcast at nine o'clock in the evening every Friday and Saturday each week, through the channels of the United Media Services Company, coinciding with the continuation of the finals and the selection of the best contestants according to a precise evaluation by the jury panel.
The program is broadcast on Al-Hayat, CBC, and Al-Nas channels, in addition to being shown through the «Watch It» platform, as part of its effort to discover outstanding talents in the recitation of the Holy Quran and showcase them to the audience.
The preliminary stages of the program witnessed the participation of more than 14,000 contestants from various provinces of the Republic, before they were filtered through several stages to select only 32 talents to compete in the final episodes, under the supervision of a scientific committee from the Ministry of Awqaf headed by Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf.
The judging panel includes a number of senior scholars and specialists, among them Sheikh Hassan Abdel Nabi, Dr. Taha Abdel Wahab, preacher Mostafa Hosny, and the reciter Sheikh Taha Al-Naamani, along with the participation of a selection of honorary guests from prominent readers and scholars in Egypt and the Islamic world.
The total value of the program's prizes reaches 3.5 million Egyptian pounds, with the first place winners in both chanting and recitation branches receiving one million pounds each, in addition to recording the entire Holy Quran in their voices and broadcasting it on the «Egypt Quran Kareem» channel, and leading the Taraweeh prayers at Imam Hussein Mosque during the upcoming Ramadan.
