On the Birthday of the King of Hearts a Tale of a Leader Who Valued Humanity Above All
الكاتب: أ.د.شادي الصرايرة

Yesterday, Jordanians celebrated the birthday of the leader of the march, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein. This occasion is not just an annual remembrance but a moment to renew the pledge and loyalty to a leader who only grew closer to his people with the years, humbler with his kin, and wiser in steering the nation towards safety.

Leadership with Love and Modesty
From the very first moment of his accession to his constitutional powers, he believed that leadership is not about protocols or ceremonies, but a heavy responsibility and trust towards every citizen. Hence, he rightfully earned the title "King of Hearts" as he is the leader whose busy schedule never prevented him from reaching the houses in the villages and deserts.
The Jordanians will never forget those spontaneous moments when the king breaks protocol to be amongst his people, share their concerns, and strives earnestly to alleviate their suffering and to share their dreams.

In times when direction is lost, the King remains the voice of reason we know and trust
Amidst the challenges sweeping through the region, His Majesty stands out as a global voice for justice and fairness. With his renowned wisdom, Jordan has managed to remain an oasis of security and stability, a staunch defender of the Palestinian cause, and bearer of the Hashemite custodianship over the holy sites in Jerusalem, making Jordan a respected and significant figure in all international forums.

A Message of Loyalty on the Birthday
On this blessed day, as we look at the magnitude of achievements despite limited resources, we can only hold our heads high with pride in this affiliation. The King's birthday is the birth of renewed hope within us, and a message that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership, will always rise above challenges, standing tall with the dignity of its people.

Wishing you, my Lord, with every year, to be the pulse and emblem of Jordan, and a father and leader to the Jordanians. Proceed and may God's eyes protect you. We follow you with hearts full of confidence and loyalty, for this Hashemite Arab sanctuary remains dignified by your presence, revered with the dignity of its people.
