Khaberni - Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformance Council, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Public Health Center and within the Healthy Living Program, supports the application of the nutrition label aimed at providing clearer and easier food choices for all community members.
It was explained that the nutrition label adopts a simplified classification system from A to E, which allows shoppers to quickly compare food products within the same category, aiding them in making more informed food decisions, and confirming that understanding food labels should not be complicated.
It was pointed out that this initiative represents a joint step towards enhancing public health and supporting healthy lifestyles, which contributes to improving the quality of life for the Abu Dhabi community.
