Fatah disassociates from Ghassan Dahaini He does not represent us and his actions are betrayal

The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) issued an official statement denying any connection with Ghassan Dahaini's work for Israel in the Gaza Strip, asserting that he does not represent the movement in any form and describing his actions as "a betrayal of our values and objectives."

The statement said: "The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) confirms that Ghassan Dahaini has no relation to this great movement and only represents a betrayal of our values and objectives. His shameful acts against the people are an indelible disgrace and will remain a stain in the history of the Palestinian people."

The statement holds Israel responsible, noting that "it will not protect him from popular punishment, and his hands will not be absolved of the blood of the martyrs and the resistance." It also issued a stern warning to anyone cooperating with the occupation, stating that "history does not forgive traitors and collaborators, and anyone who chooses to cooperate with the occupation will be exposed over time as their actions remain a betrayal. They will face the account of the Palestinian people who will not forget their sacrifices for freedom and dignity."

In concluding its statement, the movement reaffirmed its commitment to the path of struggle and sacrifice, saying: "We affirm in this statement that the Palestinian National Liberation Movement will remain faithful to the blood of our martyrs and prisoners, and will not hesitate to hold accountable anyone who contributes to weakening our legitimate struggle. Freedom for the resistance, and shame to every traitor."

It is noted that Fatah is considered the largest faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization and plays a major role in the Palestinian political scene. This statement comes in the context of affirming its militant line and rejecting any form of cooperation with Israeli occupation.

Earlier on Friday, an armed group active in the eastern part of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip released a video documenting the arrest of a field commander in the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, threatening more arrests of movement members.

In the video, Ghassan Dahaini, leader of what is called the "Counter-Terrorism Unit - Popular Forces," appeared alongside someone said to be Adham Atallah Al-Akar from Hamas members.
