Khaberni - The Deputy Guild Master of Jewelry Trade and Craftsmen, Fadi Amseih, anticipates that gold prices in the local markets will witness a decrease during the morning pricing on Saturday.
Amseih stated that gold prices might register a noticeable drop, indicating that the price of 21 karat gold might approach 98 Jordanian dinars per gram, according to current estimates.
He pointed out that the price of 21 karat gold dropped by about 10 dinars compared to the Friday noon pricing, amidst the fluctuations and disturbances in the global markets.
Meanwhile, silver continued its decline on Friday, plummeting by more than 30% in spot transactions to $80.56 per ounce by 18:19 GMT.
Silver had reached a record high on Thursday at $121.64 per ounce.
