Khaberni - The South African Foreign Ministry announced on Friday that the Israeli Acting Ambassador, Ariel Sideman, is persona non grata.
South Africa has ordered the acting ambassador at the Israeli embassy to leave the country within 72 hours.
The ministry stated in a declaration that it "informed the Israeli government of its decision to consider Ariel Sideman, the acting ambassador at the Israeli Embassy, persona non grata".
The ministry added that this decision "follows a series of unacceptable breaches of diplomatic norms and practices, which constitute a direct violation of South Africa’s sovereignty," referring to "disgraceful attacks against President Cyril Ramaphosa".
