Khaberni - Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Iranian President Masoud Bazeshkian discussed the current situation and efforts to reduce tensions in the region over the phone, as reported by the Qatari news agency "QNA" on Thursday, amid Tehran's readiness for war in response to American threats of military intervention.
"QNA" stated in a report that "the call included discussions on the latest regional and international developments, particularly the current situation, and the efforts made to reduce tensions and establish stability," and that both parties emphasized "the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional issues."
It mentioned that the Amir of Qatar reviewed bilateral relations with Bazeshkian, and ways to support and enhance them in various fields.
