Trump Putin Agreed Not to Attack Kyiv for a Week

Khaberni - US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to halt attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities for a week, following Moscow's air raids causing heating outages amid freezing temperatures.

During a government meeting, Trump said, "They have never experienced cold like this before. I personally asked President Putin not to bomb Kyiv and other cities for a week. He agreed to that, and I must tell you, it was very nice of him."

Venezuela

Trump announced that Venezuela's airspace would be reopened to commercial flights, nearly four weeks after a U.S. military operation resulted in the arrest of President Nicolas Maduro.

Trump said he had just spoken with Venezuela's acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, and "informed her that we would fully reopen commercial airspace over Venezuela."

He added that he directed Transportation Secretary Shawn Davie and "all other relevant parties, including the military, if possible, by the end of the day I would like the airspace over Venezuela to be opened."
