Khaberni - Syrian artist Bassam Al-Dakkak explained the circumstances of the murder of the esteemed actress Huda Shaarawi, known for her role as "Umm Zaki" in the series "Bab al-Hara", at her home under mysterious circumstances this Thursday, confirming that the investigation is ongoing.
In a press interview, Bassam Al-Dakkak noted that Shaarawi's son-in-law confirmed to him that the artist was killed in the morning and that the perpetrator is on the run, pointing out that her funeral will take place tomorrow, Friday, at Dhuhr prayer time.
Al-Dakkak stated that suspicions regarding the identity of the killer revolve around the housemaid who was employed by Shaarawi, as she was not found in the home, explaining that the investigation into the crime has not yet been completed.
The head of the Syrian Artists Guild, Mazen Al-Natour, had confirmed the occurrence of the crime this Thursday morning.
