Regarding the latest weather forecasts, the specialists in Arab Weather indicated that a rise will occur in temperatures during the day on Friday, "the last day of the winter forty-day period," compared to the previous days, to become higher than its usual rates for this time of year by about 3–5 degrees Celsius. The temperatures will register between 15 and 17°C in the mountains, and between 24 and 26°C in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, and the weather will be stable with the appearance of high clouds, as the dust levels in the air especially increase in the afternoon and evening.
As for the night hours, the weather remains generally cold in various regions, with temperatures ranging between 9 and 12°C in the mountains and plains and the desert areas, and between 15 and 17°C in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Saturday 1-2-2026: Another rise in temperatures and varying dust on the first day of the fifty-day winter period. On Saturday, the kingdom is affected by an air mass warmer than usual coinciding with the first day of the fifty-day winter period, it is expected that the temperatures will continue to rise to become higher than the average by about 5–7 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperatures will register between 16 and 18°C in the mountains, with an expected rise in dust levels again during the day across all areas, but with varying intensity, and the winds will be moderate southwesterly, with active gusts in the afternoon and evening.
Sunday 2-2-2026: Reaching the peak of the temperature rise. On Sunday, the kingdom will experience an increased effect from the warmer than usual air mass coming from the north of the African continent, which leads to another rise in temperatures to become higher than their usual rates for this time of year by about 9–11 degrees Celsius. The weather will be generally moderate, with temperatures ranging between 21 and 24°C in the highlands and plains, and about 27°C in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
