Khaberni - Syrian artist Huda Shaarawi passed away today, Thursday, in her home in the heart of the capital, Damascus, at the age of 87.
"Mysterious circumstances"
Sources revealed that the deceased was killed by her maid who committed the crime and fled, according to the well-known Syrian site "Bosta".
Other sites also reported the death, indicating that it occurred under "mysterious circumstances" without further details.
Additional information confirmed that the deceased was found murdered inside her home, while the internal security forces have opened an investigation, according to "Al-Watan" newspaper.
"Um Zaki" and "Bab Al-Hara"
It is worth mentioning that the deceased artist participated in many drama works and excelled in works of the Sham environment.
However, her most notable role was in the famous series "Bab Al-Hara", where she played the role of "the midwife Um Zaki".
She also participated in works such as: Ayam Shamieh, 'Aeila 7 Stars, Lack of Taste and Overwhelming Struggle, and others.
