The 15episode series imposes itself in Ramadan 2026

Khaberni  - The 15-episode series in Ramadan 2026 is no longer just an alternative to the 30-episode series, but has transformed into a primary bet for production companies as a denser and bolder format, allowing for handling complex issues without prolongation or slack.

In this context, various channels are preparing to offer a selection of series tackling political, social, psychological, humanitarian, comedic, and sports issues in the upcoming Ramadan.

Among the anticipated series:

 

Two Altered

In a calm romantic social treatment, Asser Yassin and Dina El Sherbiny come together in the series "Two Altered," where chance leads a man and a woman from opposing worlds to confront their shared past before the meeting turns into an attempt to survive deep personal crises.

The series stars Asser Yassin, Dina El Sherbiny, Hanadi Mehanna, Sabreen El Nagili, Fedwa Abed, Yasmina El Abd, Nardine Farag, Mohamed El Sweisy, written by Rana Abou El Reesh and directed by Khaled El Halfawy.

 

Immunity

Hend Sabry returns to popular series with "Immunity," set in El Bataneya neighborhood, where a woman in her twenties suddenly finds herself responsible for three children after her husband's murder.

The series stars Hend Sabry, Riad El Khouly, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Khaled Selim, Maha Nassar, Karim Kassem, Mimi Gamal, written by Amr El Daly, and directed by Hussein El Menbawy.

 

Landowners

The series "Landowners" starring Menna Shalaby and Eyad Nassar, is based on the backdrop of the Israeli aggression on Gaza in October (November) 2023. 

The series interlinks the journey of an Egyptian doctor within an aid convoy with the path of a Palestinian trying to save his nephew from bombing, creating a humanitarian relationship that transcends borders and geography. The series is written by Ammar Sabry and directed by Peter Mimi, starring Kamel El Basha, Adam Bakri, Tara Abboud, Sarah Youssef. 

 

Once Upon a Time

In "Once Upon a Time," Majid El Kadwany discusses the disintegration of a marital relationship after years of routine, where separation turns into a cold conflict in the court corridors, making the daughter the first victim of the adult's disputes. 

The series stars Majid El Kadwany, Yousra El Lozy, Areej Abd El Rasoul, Nouha Abdeen, written by Shereen Diab, and directed by Karim El Adl.

 

The Text 2

Ahmed Amin returns in the second part of "The Text" to the atmosphere of Cairo in the 1940s, where comedy intertwines with politics and espionage during World War II, in an attempt to protect his son and maneuvering on multiple fronts for Egypt's sake.

The series stars Ahmed Amin, Asmaa Abul Yazid, Sedky Sakhr, Hamza El Eily, Basma, written by Abdel Rahman Gawish, Sherif Abdel Fatah, and directed by Hossam Ali.

 

Supply and Demand

Salma Abu Deif presents in "Supply and Demand," the issue of a young teacher forced to make shocking decisions with the deteriorating health of her mother, and a direct confrontation with poverty and societal pressures.

The series is written by Mahmoud Ezzat, directed by Amro Mousa, starring Mohammed Hatem, Samah Anwar, Mustafa Abu Saree, Rahma Ahmed, Intisar.

 

Magic Eye

Essam Omar and Bassem Samra present "Magic Eye," about a surveillance camera technician involved in a murder, before meeting a mysterious lawyer, starting a journey to uncover major corruption files.

The series is written by Hisham Hilal, directed by El Seed Masoud.

 

Bibo

Kazbera leads in his first starring role in the comedy series "Bibo," about a poor young man dreaming of travel, before discovering a secret that turns his life upside down.

The series is directed by Ahmed Shafiq, written and supervised by Tamer Mohsen, starring Hala Sedki, Sayed Ragab, Alaa Morsi, Waleed Fawaz.

 

Last Chance

In "Last Chance," Mahmoud Hemida and Tarek Lotfy face a harsh ethical dilemma after the kidnapping of a judge's granddaughter forces him to acquit a guilty party.

The series is written by Amin Jamal, directed by Ahmed Adel Salama.

 

The Story of Narges

Reham Abdel Ghafour presents in "The Story of Narges," the story of a divorced woman confronted with social stigma about infertility, driving her to a tragic path in search of self-justice. The series is written by Ammar Saber, directed by Sameh Alaa.

Maximum Limit

Rogina presents in "Maximum Limit," the story of a woman inadvertently involved in a money laundering case, following a mysterious money transfer leading her to a series of accusations.

Meanwhile, Yasser Jalal, after the success of "Godr" in the past two seasons, returns with a comedic social work about the story of a businessman who suddenly loses his fortune and tries to save himself with an unexpected marriage.

 

The Blue Color

The series "The Blue Color" sheds light on the hardships of a family returning from the Gulf to face the challenges of treating a child with autism. The series stars Joumana Murad, Ahmad Rizk, Ahmad Bedir, Kamal Abou Raya, Naglaa Badr, Hanan Soliman, written by Mariam Naoum, directed by Saad Hindawi.
