Khaberni - Gold prices in the local market jumped on Thursday to a record high, according to the General Union of Owners of Jewelry Trade and Craft Shops.
According to the daily price list, the selling price of a 21-karat gold gram, the most demanded by citizens in the local market, reached 112.80 dinars for selling purposes from goldsmith shops, versus 108.20 dinars for buying.
The selling price for a gram of gold in 24, 18, and 14 karats from goldsmith shops reached 128.70, 100.20, and 78.10 dinars respectively.
