Khaberni - During a surprise visit to the Jordan Water Company - Miyahuna, Water and Irrigation Minister, Engineer Raed Abu Al-Saud, emphasized the necessity of improving the water supply efficiency and dealing with the citizens' feedback with utmost responsibility. He toured several company facilities and customer services and reviewed the mechanisms of service delivery to the citizens, accompanied by the CEO, Engineer Mohammad Al-Kharabsheh, instructing the need to monitor water supply in all areas, including the neighboring provinces.
The CEO of Miyahuna, while chairing a meeting led by the Minister to discuss the company's procedures aimed at improving service to the citizens and increasing efforts to reduce water losses and develop technical and professional performance, presented the company's plans to prepare for and cater to the 2026 summer needs through building various scenarios and necessary plans to ensure additional resources to meet the demand.
He mentioned that raising the level of readiness and performance, and starting to prepare work plans for the summer of 2026 and the sustainability of water and sanitation services to all subscribers in all areas covered by the company, is a measure of success.
The Minister stressed the effective response to citizens, understanding their needs, and enhancing their partnership in the success of the water sector strategy, and the necessity of having technical plans capable of facing water challenges, especially during times of increased water demand.
