AlAjalayn Terminates Contract with AlFaisaly and Returns to AlJazeera

Khaberni - Salem Al-Ajalayn revealed the termination of his contract with Al-Faisaly, a Jordanian club, without clarifying the reasons that led to this decision, which was a surprise for the club’s fans.

Al-Ajalayn, 37 years old, is among the players who have made significant impacts on the Jordanian football scene, having previously represented the national team and contributed to its reaching the final of the 2023 Asia Cup.

Al-Ajalayn's transfer to Al-Faisaly ten years ago marked an important step in his career, and he made a significant contribution that helped the team win numerous local titles.

Al-Ajalayn began his football career at Al-Jazeera Club and stayed there for 8 years before moving to Manshiyat Bani Hasan and Al-Ahli, and then finally settled at Al-Faisaly since the 2016 season.

Salem Al-Ajalayn Unexpectedly Terminates His Contract with Al-Faisaly

Salem Al-Ajalayn, the captain of Al-Faisaly, surprised his team's fans with a message he posted on his official Facebook account, stating: "Fans of Al-Faisaly, my fellow players, I wish you all the best in the upcoming period, and I have personally decided to end my contract with the club."

This message was received with great surprise by Al-Faisaly fans, especially since Salem, after terminating his contract with Al-Budaiya Club of Bahrain two months ago, expressed his desire to return to the team, which the board of directors approved.

Al-Ajalayn returned to Al-Faisaly, where the player wanted to end his career, but the surprise was that he decided to terminate his contract at a critical time, as the team prepares for a tough match against Al-Ramtha tomorrow, Thursday, to decide the lead in the Jordanian league.

It is possible that Al-Ajalayn terminated his contract with Al-Faisaly because he did not receive his financial dues from the club, which amounted to about 60,000 Jordanian Dinars, and he plans to claim them by filing a complaint with the local football federation.

Reports indicate that Al-Ajalayn is considering retiring at the end of the season, after undergoing his last experience with his first club, Al-Jazeera.
