Khaberni - Yazan Al-Khudair, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, sponsored the launch of the Integrated Tourism Diploma at the Middle East University, implemented by the Innovation and Professional Development Center in partnership with Theory Y platform.
The launching ceremony was attended by the director of the Innovation and Professional Development Center at the university, Professor Dr. Anees Al-Mansour, and the operational manager of the Theory Y platform, Najah Al-Atout, as well as representatives from strategic partners in the tourism sector.
During his speech at the ceremony, Al-Khudair stated that human resource development is a fundamental pillar for the advancement of the tourism sector, emphasizing that the next phase requires specialized training programs that focus on practical application and contribute to preparing personnel capable of meeting market demands.
For his part, Dr. Al-Mansour, the center's director, explained that the Integrated Tourism Diploma represents an advanced model of integration between academic education and practical training, reflecting the university's commitment to empowering youth and equipping them with distinctive skills that enhance their readiness to actively participate in the job market.
Al-Atout presented the vision of the platform in developing professional specialized diplomas based on building practical skills, keeping up with the rapid transformations in the tourism industry, thus providing students with real opportunities to compete locally and regionally in changing and demanding work environments.
The launch of the Integrated Tourism Diploma is part of a shared vision aimed at supporting the pathways of sustainable tourism development and enhancing Jordan's position as a regional hub for specialized tourism education and training, through quality programs that meet modern standards and serve national development priorities.
