Tahboub on her question to AlBakar The clock is ticking

Khaberni - Deputy Dima Tahboub confirmed that the legal period to respond to the interrogation directed at the Ministry of Labor regarding the «Decent Work» file has not yet ended, indicating that the internal rules of the House of Representatives oblige the government to answer within 21 working days from the date of receiving the interrogation.

Tahboub said in a post on her official Facebook page that the interrogation was officially presented by the council on 7-1, and that the legal deadline is still valid, but «the clock is ticking» as the deadline for response approaches.

She added that she will inform the citizens about the responses received and her evaluation of them as soon as she receives them, pointing to waiting for them to be added to the council's agenda for discussion in one of the upcoming oversight sessions.

Tahboub also expressed her appreciation for the citizens' concern and follow-up, considering this interest as a motivation for her to continue working and monitoring regulatory issues under the dome of the parliament.
