Khaberni - The Red Corner area in Cairo, Egypt, witnessed a tragic crime that claimed the life of a 40-year-old gypsum board installer, at the hands of a hookah shop owner following a dispute between their daughters.
According to the website "Cairo 24", the victim's family said that "the spark of the dispute ignited over a bag of chips between the killer's daughter and the victim's daughter," and the victim's family members mentioned that they didn't expect things to escalate to the point of assassinating their son right in front of their house.
With sadness, the family added: "He was always kind-hearted and never harmed anyone, and suddenly we found him drenched in his own blood right before our eyes," expressing their shock at the horrific manner in which his life was ended.
The preliminary investigations revealed that the killer's wife attacked the victim with a metal object, while the killer's son - a high school student - assaulted him with a sharp weapon, before the father intervened and stabbed him four times with a dagger, killing him instantly.
The security forces apprehended the three suspects (the father, the mother, and the son), while the investigative authorities began interrogating witnesses and examining the crime scene to gather evidence and ascertain the details of the incident accurately in preparation for referring it to criminal trial.
