Global artist wears stolen Louvre jewels during a fashion show in Paris Whats the story

Khaberni - In an exceptional event during Paris Fashion Week, American designer Daniel Roseberry transformed one of the most famous jewelry heists in France into an artistic performance, by re-exhibiting pieces stolen from the Louvre on the fashion stage, according to Daily Mail.

American artist Teyana Taylor appeared wearing a striking crown and necklace, which seemed as if they were directly taken from the Louvre's vaults, before it was later revealed that they were artistically reimagined and remanufactured versions of imperial jewels stolen from the museum last October, primarily pieces associated with Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III.

The theft of French crown jewels from the Louvre caused widespread shock, especially since it included a crown studded with 212 pearls and about two thousand diamonds, of which only one piece was recovered. However, Roseberry transformed the incident into a source of inspiration, saying the idea came to him while returning from work days after the theft, wondering, "Why not reimagine these stolen jewels?". The designer explained that the pieces displayed are not exact replicas, but exaggerated and enlarged artistic works, designed to be clearly seen on the runway and reflect a more theatrical nature rather than a craft reproduction.

The show was attended by a number of stars and prominent figures, including actress Demi Moore, businessman Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez, Jennifer Lawrence, Greta Lee, Carla Bruni, Mia Goth, and Rihanna.
