The Meteorological Department expects light and scattered rain showers on Wednesday morning in parts of the north of the Kingdom, with clear activity of the west winds causing dust, which leads to a reduction in horizontal visibility, especially in desert areas and roads.
In the afternoon, the weather will turn cloudy, and the chances of rain will increase in the north and center of the Kingdom, and limited parts of the east and southwest, which may be heavy for short periods sometimes and accompanied by thunder and hail.
The Meteorological Department confirmed the continuation of the Kingdom's impact on Thursday by the remnants of the cold air mass, with cold and partly to mostly cloudy weather, and the possibility of light and scattered rain until noon in the north and center of the Kingdom, while fog forms at night, especially over the high mountain heights.
The forecasts indicated a slight rise in temperatures on Friday and Saturday, with the weather being relatively cold in most areas, and tending to be warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high clouds appearing.
The Meteorology warns of the possibility of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas in the north and center of the Kingdom, and from reduced horizontal visibility due to dust and fog, especially in the desert and outer roads, and from the danger of strong wind speeds and accompanying gusts.
