Trump Another great fleet now heading towards Iran

Khaberni  - U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that a new fleet of American warships is heading towards Iran, expressing his hope that Tehran will choose wisdom and agree to strike a deal.

He said in a speech in Iowa: "By the way, there is another great fleet now heading quickly towards Iran, so we will see what happens. I hope they agree to a deal."

On January 22, the U.S. President said, "We have many ships heading there, in anticipation of any emergency. We have a large fleet heading there, and we will see what happens. We have great strength heading towards Iran. I'd prefer nothing happens, but we are watching them closely."

Before that, Trump said that the United States would "wipe Iran off the face of the Earth" if his life were threatened, in an unprecedented escalation of his tone towards Tehran.

In the same context, Trump attacked his predecessor Joe Biden, considering that his administration adopted a lenient and weak policy towards Iran, and added: "We always wondered why doesn’t Biden say anything? If I had been in the White House then, and had they threatened anyone, not necessarily the president, but anyone as they did with me, I would have given them a very hard strike."

The site "Axios" reported that U.S. administration officials will present new proposals to President Donald Trump this week should he decide to use military force against Iran.

The site adds that "officials in the White House say that the possibility of launching strikes is still under study, although the protests [in Iran] have been largely suppressed,” and sources from the site mentioned that Trump has not made a final decision yet on the possibility of directing strikes against Iran.

The site mentioned that Trump is likely to conduct more consultations this week, and additional military options will be presented to him for use.
