Khaberni - The public security directorate spokesman stated that specialized firefighting teams working in the Civil Defense Directorate of East Irbid dealt with a fire in a tent covering an area of 50 m2 in Hawara area.
The spokesman also mentioned that the fire resulted in the death of four children due to severe burns sustained across their bodies, all from one family and of Arab nationality, aged between 6 and 9 years.
The spokesman added that the firefighting teams worked on extinguishing the fire, and ambulance crews evacuated the deceased to the hospital. An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of the fire.
