Khaberni - The Iranian President, Masoud Bazshkian, accused the United States and Europe of intervening and directly supporting the recent riots in the country.
In condemning the behavior of the United States and some European countries regarding the recent events in the country, the president said: "They remained silent about what happened in Gaza, which was outright genocide and brutal killing of women, children, and civilians, yet they decided to take a humanitarian stance on the internal unrest and disturbances in Iran, which occurred with their intervention and direct support."
In part of his speech, the president referred to the external pressures and efforts of Iran's enemies to hinder the country's development and progress, stating "Since I took office, economic, financial, monetary, and security pressures have increased."
The president emphasized that the government will continue to provide services despite these threats.
He clarified in this context that the government is ready to listen to the citizens' problems, and will seek through dialogue and cooperation with the people to solve these concerns and anxieties.
Masoud Bazshkian continued, saying: "We are not without faults, and there is negligence that needs to be rectified, but our intent and goal do not go beyond serving the people and elevating Iran."
He asserted in his speech that he will not exploit his position for personal interests, and will not allow those around him to use this position to achieve illicit gains or misconduct for personal benefit.
