This step reflects the company's outstanding financial performance and its ability to achieve sustainable profits that directly benefit the local community, where the proceeds enable the fund to expand its support for needy students, embodying an effective model for harnessing business success in service of developmental and educational goals.
In this context, the CEO of Umniah, Faisal Al Jalahmah, said: "The distribution of profits reflects the depth of the strategic partnership between the company and the Jordanian Student Fund as one of the main shareholders, translating the company's financial success into a tangible community impact that contributes to supporting the educational journey and providing the necessary resources for students to complete their education, in alignment with the national visions to enhance equity and equal opportunities in education.
Jalahmah confirmed that Umniah continues its efforts in enabling the digital transformation of the education sector through an effective partnership with the Ministry of Education, which has resulted in providing around 3500 schools with high-efficiency internet services, offering a modern educational environment that supports students, especially high school students, to keep pace with the requirements of the digital age and its challenges.
And affirmed, the Minister of Education, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, during the handover of the Jordanian Student Fund its share proceeds in the company, his pride in the depth of cooperation and partnership relations that unite the two parties, especially regarding the educational process.
He referred to the many programs implemented by both parties, especially those that contribute to employing modern technology in enhancing the efficiency of the educational process, and supporting the ministry's efforts in developing education in line with the goals and outcomes of the national strategy for educational development adopted by the government and implemented by the ministry.
Dr. Mahafzah expressed his thanks to Umniah for allocating financial sums to support the education of our student children, hoping for the continuation of robust cooperation and partnership relations in the future.
