Khaberni - The Egyptian artist Youssef El Sherif is getting ready to return to the Ramadan competition through a new and exciting dramatic experience in the series "The Art of War," which is scheduled to be exclusively shown on CBC as part of Ramadan 2026 season’s programming.
The series, which falls within the genre of thrill and suspense, presents a story that combines mental conflict and complex revenge, drawing inspiration from the philosophy of the book "The Art of War," where the hero relies on smart and psychological strategies to overcome difficulties and achieve his goals.
Starring alongside Youssef El Sherif are Kamal Abu Raya, Reem Mustafa, Sherry Adel, Islam Ibrahim, Donya Samy, Mohamed Gomaa, alongside a selection of other artistic faces, forming a lineup that ensures performance diversity and presenting strong dramatic scenes that attract viewers throughout the holy month.
The series is written by Amr Samir Atef and directed by Mahmoud Abdel Twab.
The promo revealed exciting scenes, the most prominent being Youssef El Sherif talking about the book, saying: "There are laws that regulate the universe and recur in everything.. This is the book The Art of War, a book that is 2500 years old, tips military leaders on how to achieve victory in battles, and I have decided to rely on it."
El Sherif also appeared in the promo entering a luxury hotel, saying: "Everyone's money will be returned to them, plus ten million pounds," reflecting the escalation of conflict and the intensity of excitement in the work.
The story of the series revolves around Ziad, who chooses acting away from the world of family business, before a sudden betrayal leads to the collapse of his father's empire and his imprisonment. After the death of his father, Ziad returns driven by the desire for revenge and to recover the money and the family name, exploiting his talent in acting and his ability to manipulate minds.
As the events escalate, the story becomes more complicated with Dina, the daughter of his enemy, falling in love with him and secretly helping him, making the game he is playing even more difficult.
