The Minister of Transport discusses with the Truck Owners Union the enhancement of the fleets efficiency and the development of

Khaberni - The Minister of Transport, Dr. Nidal Al-Qatamin, in the presence of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Services and Transportation Committee, Dr. Ayman Al-Badadweh, and the MP Khaled Al-Mesamreh, met with the guild leader of truck owners Mohammad Khair Al-Dawood and his deputy Ibrahim Al-Ghazawi, to discuss ways to enhance the truck fleet, which contributes to improving the sector's efficiency.
The minister and the honourable deputies listened to the issues of the trucking sector  where several proposals were discussed that could enhance work, develop the sector, and address and alleviate the difficulties and challenges it faces.

Dr. Al-Qatamin emphasized the importance of the trucking and land transport sector as a vital and national interest for its pivotal role in supporting the national economy and the movement of trade and supply chains, pointing to the Ministry of Transport's keenness to work in partnership with the guild and relevant entities to enhance the technical and operational efficiency of the fleet, which reflects on the quality of services, traffic safety, and cost reduction.
On his part, Dr. Ayman Al-Badadweh confirmed the support of the Parliamentary Services and Transportation Committee for the government's efforts aimed at developing the trucking sector, stressing that enhancing the competitiveness of this sector contributes to invigorating the national economy and achieving a balance between the interests of those working in the sector and the public interest.
The meeting was attended by Fares Abu Dayyeh, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport, and Riyadh Al-Kharabsheh, the Director-General of the Land Transportation Authority, where a number of issues related to the trucking sector and institutional cooperation mechanisms between the Ministry of Transport, the Land Transportation Authority, and the Truck Owners Guild were discussed.
