Khaberni - The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday that the country will not allow the use of its airspace, land, or waters in military operations against Iran.
The Ministry affirmed that the UAE is committed to not providing any logistical support in this matter.
According to the official news agency, the Ministry reiterated its belief that enhancing dialogue, de-escalation, adherence to international laws, and respect for the sovereignty of states constitute the optimal foundations for addressing the current crises, emphasizing the UAE's approach based on the necessity of resolving disputes through diplomatic means.
In a related context, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei said on Monday that his country would respond comprehensively to any military attack it faces.
This was stated at a press conference held by Baghaei, according to the Iranian news agency "Tasnim", in response to a question regarding the US preparations to launch an attack on Iran.
The spokesperson stated that Iran trusts its capabilities and past experiences, including the war in June 2025.
He added: "Iran today is in a stronger position, and if it is attacked, its response will be broader and more painful."
He explained that the assembly of forces and military threats by the Americans in the region constitute a blatant violation of international law.
He noted that sending warships to the region will not affect Iran's resolve and determination to defend its existence.
Baghaei pointed out that Iran is facing a hybrid war, an extension of the attacks that were launched by Israel and the United States in June.
He confirmed that the countries in the region realize that any insecurity does not only affect Iran alone, and therefore there is a shared concern among the regional countries.
Baghaei also denied the accuracy of news regarding the exchange of messages between the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the American President's special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
In June 2025, Israel launched a war supported by the US against Iran that lasted 12 days, to which Tehran responded, before the United States declared a ceasefire.
On Saturday, American media reported that the aircraft carrier Lincoln and three accompanying destroyers arrived on Friday to the Indian Ocean, on their way to the central command operation area of the US in the Gulf of Oman, amid the American threat to Iran.
