Khaberni - Al-Quweismeh Model Youth Center participated today, Monday, in the national afforestation campaign, which was implemented by the Ministry of Youth in partnership with the Ministries of Local Administration and Agriculture, as part of the national efforts aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and increasing green spaces.
The campaign included the planting of 200 saplings of species suitable for the local environment, in the garden of Al-Juweideh school, with the participation of 25 young members from the center, contributing to the expansion of the vegetation cover and supporting environmental protection efforts.
Anas Al-Qudah, the Director of Youth for the Capital Governorate, confirmed that this participation strengthens the culture of environmental volunteer work, enhances values of belonging and community responsibility among the youth, alongside raising environmental awareness and contributing to facing environmental challenges such as climate change and global warming, and reducing random waste disposal.
