Khaberni - The Israeli Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Anti-Semitism announced the inclusion of 29 Turkish figures on what it described as the "blacklist", including Bilal Erdogan, son of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The decision includes banning these figures from entering territories under Israeli control, including the occupied Palestine, and transferring their names to the Population and Immigration Authority to enforce the ban at crossings.
The list includes religious, charitable, media, and academic figures, notably Fahmi Bulent Yildirim, head of the Humanitarian Relief Foundation IHH linked to the ship "Mavi Marmara", and the former head of Religious Affairs Ali Erbas.
Israeli authorities claim that these figures are involved in "incitement", "calling for the boycott of Israel", "delegitimizing Israel", and "anti-Semitism", especially in the context of their positions on the war on Gaza.
Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs Amichai Shikli described Turkey as an "enemy state" and part of the "axis of evil", threatening to continue targeting those who promote boycotts or criticize Israel internationally.
This step reflects a clear political escalation in Turkish-Israeli relations and turns Ankara’s criticisms of the war on Gaza into a basis for personal punitive measures.
The Israeli authorities have kept the complete list of names confidential with gradual leaks that provide Israel with a political and media leverage, used as a deterrent message to the active Turkish elites in the boycott movement and support for Gaza.
