Rise in temperatures until Tuesday and a noticeable drop on Wednesday

Khaberni - Temperatures will slightly rise on Monday, registering above the general averages for this time of the year by about (4–5) degrees Celsius, with the weather being relatively cold in most areas, and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High clouds will appear, and the winds will be southeast and moderate in speed, occasionally becoming brisk.

The Meteorological Department warns in its report of the possibility of frost formation during the early morning hours over the high Sharah mountains, and of reduced horizontal visibility occasionally due to dust, especially in the desert areas.

On Tuesday, the weather will be relatively cold in most regions, and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes. The winds will be moderate in speed from the southwest.

On Wednesday, temperatures will notably decrease, and the weather will be cold in most areas, with clouds appearing at various altitudes. By the will of God Almighty, rain showers are expected during the afternoon in the north of the kingdom, extending in the evening to central regions and parts of the northeastern regions, possibly accompanied by thunder in parts of the north and east of the kingdom. Later, light and scattered rains are expected for a short period in parts of the southwestern regions, with the winds being active from the west, stirring dust, particularly in the desert areas, leading to reduced horizontal visibility.

On Thursday, the weather will be cold and partly cloudy in most areas, and mild in temperature in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. There remains a chance for light and scattered rain showers in parts of the north and center of the kingdom during the morning hours. The winds will be moderate from the southwest.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in east Amman today range between 18 and 7 degrees Celsius, in west Amman 16 and 5, in the northern highlands 15 and 6, in the Sharah highlands 14 and 3, in the desert areas 19 and 4, in the plains areas 18 and 6, in the northern Jordan Valley 21 and 9, in the southern Jordan Valley 24 and 13, at the Dead Sea 23 and 12, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 25 and 14 degrees Celsius.
