Khaberni - Mafraq major municipality has started the installation of (11) specialized cameras to detect and monitor environmental violations committed by its vehicles and machinery, as part of the executive program aimed at the strategy to reduce the phenomenon of random waste disposal, enhance environmental behavior, and community responsibility.
This measure is in line with the directions of the Ministry of Local Administration and the Ministry of Environment, and within the framework of implementing the vision for economic modernization which consolidates and enhances the efficiency of monitoring and following up.
The cameras will document any environmental violations that may be issued by its machinery, ensuring the application of the prevailing instructions and regulations fairly and transparently, and contributing to fostering a culture of compliance, discipline, and maintaining a clean environment.
