Khaberni - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed today, Sunday, that the American document on security guarantees for his country is fully ready, and that Kyiv is waiting for the date and place of its signing.
Zelensky added at a press conference during a visit to the Lithuanian capital Vilnius "For us, security guarantees are first and foremost security guarantees from the United States. The document is 100% ready, and we are waiting for our partners to confirm the date and place of its signing."
He continued, "The document will then be sent to the US Congress and the Ukrainian parliament for ratification."
Talks between Ukrainian, Russian, and American delegations concluded on Saturday in Abu Dhabi after "constructive" discussions, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, while an American official confirmed that the next round would be held next Sunday.
These negotiations are considered the first publicly announced direct negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv concerning the American plan to end the war that began with the Russian invasion in February 2022 and led to tens of thousands of deaths.
