Karate Team Wins 3 Bronze Medals at World League Championship

Khaberni - On Sunday, the national karate team was crowned with three bronze medals, concluding their participation in the first round of the World Karate League, held in Istanbul, Turkey, which saw the participation of 376 athletes from 65 countries.
The three medals were won by: Abdullah Hamad (under 60 kg), Abdulrahman Al-Masatfeh (under 67 kg), and Mohammad Al-Jaafari (under 84 kg).
Abdullah Hamad secured the bronze medal after defeating the French player Sami Tas with a score of 5-1, having previously achieved three victories in the group stages and topping his group before losing in the quarter-finals.
Al-Masatfeh earned his bronze by defeating the Japanese player Kozaki Yugo with a score of 5-3; "Al-Masatfeh" had topped his group, won in the quarter-final round, and lost in the semi-finals.
Al-Jaafari won the bronze medal after defeating the Japanese player Shimada Rikito with a score of 3-0, having led his group with three victories before losing in the quarter-finals.
It is worth noting that the World Karate League consists of 4 rounds this year, taking place in Istanbul, Rome, Lishan in China, and Rabat in Morocco.
