Khaberni - The Social Security Corporation confirmed that road accidents that insured persons encounter while heading to their workplaces are classified as work-related injuries if they result in an injury to the subscriber.
The Corporation clarified, through a post, that social security bears the costs of treatment, in addition to disbursing compensation for work stoppage, and salaries for temporary or permanent disability resulting from the injury, in accordance with the provisions of the social security law.
The Corporation invited citizens to inquire about their inclusion in social security through the electronic services available on its official website, or by contacting the unified social security contact center at the number (117117).
