The Armed Forces Begin Implementing Royal Directives to Restructure the Arab Army

Khaberni  - The Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army have begun implementing the high royal directives issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, related to restructuring and modernizing the Arab Army, which involves a comprehensive structural transformation that enhances its efficiency and readiness to deal with various current and future security challenges.

The royal directives focus on developing a comprehensive strategy and a clear roadmap, aiming to enhance combat and operational capabilities, and to build a military force that is agile, flexible, and qualitative, capable of operating efficiently in diverse operational environments, and keeping up with the requirements of modern warfare and unconventional wars.

The directives emphasize the alignment of the organizational structure of the armed forces with the nature of operational tasks, modernizing the command, control, and communications systems, and enhancing integration among different corps, formations, and units, as well as expanding the use of advanced military technology, including unmanned systems and cyber capabilities.

The directives also include strengthening the capabilities of the reserve forces, developing the logistical support system to ensure sustainability and smooth supply chains, and supporting the national defense industries based on modern professional foundations that contribute to enhancing self-sufficiency and operational efficiency.
