Khaberni - The Internal Security Directorate in Syria, in Yabroud area, in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Department in Damascus Countryside Governorate, managed to arrest "S.K", "A.R", and "W.G" for their involvement in the murder of the citizen Noha Rumia.
The Syrian Interior Ministry said in a post on Facebook, "This came after a report from the victim's husband indicating that he was subjected to gunfire inside his home, resulting in his injury and the immediate death of his wife. The specialist units began following up the case on the ground, managed to identify the perpetrators and their location, and arrested them."
The Interior added that the perpetrators confessed to the allegations against them, and admitted that they fired the shots targeting the husband, claiming he was an agent for the defunct regime. However, the investigations proved this claim to be false.
The arrested individuals were referred to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal actions against them, according to a statement by the Syrian Interior.
